Mary "Maw" Nally, 98, died Sunday at The Meadows East. She was the former Mary Clark, a native of Nelson County, a licensed deaconess for the Church of the Nazarene, a former Democratic precinct volunteer in the Beechmont neighborhood and a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors: daughters Alice Howard and Evelyn VanGilder; a son, Wayne Nally; six grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; and 12 great-greatgrandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Arch L. Heady Southern, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Entombment: Evergreen. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday.
