MILLBURY/SHREWSBURY - Constance Marie (Purretta) Hovagimian, 83, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She leaves her husband of 50 years, John Hovagimian; two daughters; two sisters. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Purretta and her sister Frances Purretta.

Constance was born in Worcester, daughter of Gaetano Thomas and Congetta (Aquino) Purretta. She lived several years in Shrewsbury before moving recently to Millbury.

She was a graduate of Worcester Commerce High School.

Constance was an administrative assistant for many years to Dr. Jane Fitzpatrick in her pediatric medical practice in Worcester.

She won many awards as an Arthur Murray dancer and later went on to become a teacher for the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She was an amazing and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother right up until the end. She stayed true to her God Jehovah.

Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
