John S. Palzewicz, age 67, of Daggett, Mich. passed away at home on Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was born June 29, 1951 in Daggett, Mich. to the late Joseph and Rose (Mathias) Palzewicz.
John graduated from Stephenson High School and Northern Michigan University with a teaching degree.
John worked for the United States Post Office as a mail carrier for 29 years.
He loved to watch the Packers, Tigers and all other sports. He is also a retired member of the Stephenson Vol. Fire Dept. John loved the outdoors, and enjoyed to go hunting, fishing, mowing the lawn and working on the lawn care at the Four Seasons Island Resort. Golf courses were a familiar place for him, growing up on Lone Oak Golf Course, built by his father Joe.
John is survived by his wife Barb of Daggett, Mich.;
and children Mandy (Denco) Baumler of Daggett, Mich., Joseph Palzewicz of Menominee, Mich. and Alexandria Palzewicz of Marquette, Mich.
Granddaughter Malorie Baumler.
3 sisters: Judy Karbowski, Mary Carhoun and Vikki Palzewicz-Waite;
5 brothers: Roland, Jim (Ellen), Leslie (Ellie), Bob (Karen) and Donald.
John was preceded in death by his brothers: Kenneth and Gerald "Jerry"; 3 sisters: Katherine "Kathy", Jeanne Grider and Joanne Hurtt.
