Edna Clara Foote Goins, 86, of Ringgold, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. She had lived in the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas for most of her life and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church in Chattanooga. She was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Ida Lee Foote; husband, Bill Goins; brothers, Doyle, Kenneth, Pete & Clifford Foote and sister, Martha Foote Hacker.
Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry (Christy) Cagle, Terry (Maureen) Goins, Raymond (Melanie) Goins; daughter, Dianne Ownby; 5 step-children; brother, Harlen Foote; sister, Gail Foote; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous extended family & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Robbie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
