Florence Thompson Boorn was born on Sept. 17, 1925, to Joseph and Lela (Gauger) Thompson in Moscow.
She worked at Proctor and Gamble in Iowa City, retiring in 1968.
She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Boorn of Moscow, and Dennis and Sue Boorn of Wilton; four daughters, Judy and her husband Dave Bronner, Wilton, Carol and her husband Pete Hall, Wapello, Joan and her husband Roger Marolf, Wilton, and Connie Fitzer of Wilton; two brothers, George Thompson, Muscatine, and William and his wife Margaret of Grandview; three sisters Frances and her husband Dale Thumma,Tipton, Bonnie Thompson, Muscatine, and Patsy and her husband Ron Dickey of Muscatine; 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, JoAnn Jefferson, Betty White, and Mary DeSollar; and two brothers, Kenneth Thompson and Leland Thompson.
