Mrs. Bernhard Daugs, 65, of 1337 S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L.H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Daugs, the former Esther Prucha, was born Sept. 19, 1900, at Oconto, daughter of the late James and Anna Prochnow Prucha. She was married to Mr. Daugs Aug. 20, 1924, at Menominee, Mich., and the couple resided at Manitowoc since.
Survivors are the husband, a son, Harold of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Reuben (Doris) Hawkins of Sheboygan and Mrs. Francis (Lois) Lesperance and Mrs. Eugene (Kathleen) Welch of Manitowoc; a brother, Carl of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Walter Miller of Milwaukee and 26 grandchildren. Two sons and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Thursday until 10:30 a.m. Friday and then at the church.
