Delmar Dvorak, 64, of the Village of Mishicot, died Saturday afternoon, May 12, 1990, at home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot. Rev. David Waege will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens with VFW military graveside rites.
He was born in Mishicot on September 9, 1925, son of the late Joseph and Josephine Karas Dvorak. He was married on July 23, 1956, to Lila Schwartz. He served in the United States Army during World War II and also was a Korean Veteran. He was employed with Hoffman Bros. Construction of Two Rivers and retired from the meat department of Krause's Shopping Center in Mishicot. He was a member and past officer of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Mishicot VFW Post 7753. Mr. Dvorak was also active in the restoration of Mishicot Museum.
Survivors include his wife, Lila; a sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Clyde Rau of Mishicot; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Caroline Dvorak of Manitowoc; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the church from 12 noon to the time of services. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Organ Fund.
