Julie A. Dvorak, age 18, daughter of James and Christine Dvorak of 5402 County Road T, Whitelaw, died peacefully Sunday afternoon Nov. 17, 2002 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, with her family at her side following a lifelong battle with Rett Syndrome.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002 at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, 2201 S. 42nd St. Manitowoc. Pastor Paul Perkins, will officiate with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, 1500 Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

Julie was born Aug. 7, 1984 at Manitowoc, daughter of James and Christine Siehr Dvorak. Julie attended Reedsville Elementary and was currently a student in the Reedsville Middle School. Julie was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church and was active in the Reedsville School Band, home economics and the art programs.

Survivors include her parents: James and Christine of Whitelaw; one brother: Michael at home; one sister: Amanda at home; her paternal great-grandmother: Mickey Engeldinger of Manitowoc; her maternal grandfather: Phil (Sandy) Siehr of Two Rivers; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Francis “Knobby” Dvorak; Carol Dvorak and Judy Siehr.

Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville, on Tuesday from 5 until 7 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.

Julie was an inspiration to us all and touched our hearts in her own special way. We will dearly miss your cheerfulness, smiling grin and that look out of the corner of your eyes. We take great comfort in knowing you are finally free, dancing with the angels in the glorious heaven above.
