Adolph (Nic) Eisenmann, 83, of Rt. 2, Mishicot, died unexpectedly early Friday morning at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church, Mishicot, the Rev. Robert A. Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mr. Eisenmann was born June 14, 1887, at Harrold, S.D., a son of the late Fred and Julia Kannewurf Eisenmann. When he was 15, the family brought him to the Town of Mishicot where it became engaged in farming. He remained in farming in the Town of Mishicot until retiring in 1958. He married the former Alice Mueller at Two Rivers, Oct. 26, 1915. She preceded him in death in June of 1960.

A longtime member of Zion church he was its trustee for 26 years. He was a past treasurer of the former Kettle Range District School Board and the Saxonburg District School Board.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Pauline) Weiss of Rt. 2, Mishicot; three sons, Federick and Franklin of Rt. 2, Mishicot, and Kenneth of White River, Ontario, Canada; seven sisters, Mrs. Chester (Amanda) Mueller and Miss Emma Eisenmann of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Sophia Wallin and Miss Margaret Eisenmann of Seal Beach, Calif., Mrs. Antoinette Turek of Green Valley, Ariz., Mrs. Lucy Leigh of Libby, Mont., and Miss Rosetta Eisenmann of Milwaukee; and a brother, Ben Eisenmann of Maribel. Two brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 2 p.m. Sunday until noon Monday when the casket will be taken to the church and the body will lie in state until the time of services.

The family requested that memorials be made to Zion church.

Miss Alice Mueller and Mr. Nic Eisenmann were married at Two Rivers last Tuesday morning. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mueller of Saxonburg and has a large circle of friends in this community. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eisenmann and a graduate of the Agriculture Short Course. The young couple departed immediately for South Dakota on a honeymoon trip. They will be at home at Mishicot after New Years.
