Paul LeRoy Hansen 72 of Chester passed away April 21, 2014 in Mount Pleasant, UT. He was born September 28, 1941 in Tooele, UT to Harold Allred & Verna Lorna Mortensen Hansen. Paul served in the US Navy from 1958- 1962 as a machinist. He married the love of his life, Roxanne Sharon Emerson on March 22, 1975 in Elko, NV. Dad loved the outdoors. He was happiest on top of the mountain casting his pole as the sun rose. He was an accomplished mechanic and businessman. Paul helped organize and manage diesel mechanic shops throughout his career. His last 30 years were spent at Spanish Fork Diesel with some great people and friends. He was an amazing husband and father. His greatest work in this life was the care he gave his family. He taught us, prepared us, and loved us with all his heart. We are going to miss him dearly. Survived by his wife Roxanne Hansen, Chester, UT; children, Cody (Tiffany) Hansen, Eagle Mountain, UT; Calie (Sheldon) Lepore, Ogden, UT; Paul H. Hansen, Eagle Mountain, UT; Bryan (Kaylen) Hansen, Chester, UT; Alexander (Brittaney) Hansen, Spanish Fork, UT; Lakota (Jeffrey) LaCroix, Ogden, UT; Laura Riggs, Linda Condor, Christine Hansen, Kenneth Hansen all of Arlington,TX; sister, Holly (Bob) Butters, Tooele, UT; 20 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Vivian Hall and Sandra Peterson. Memorial services will be held May 3, 2014 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Sanpitch LDS Church (80 S 200 W Wales, UT).
