She was born in Cooper County, Mo., a daughter of William W. and Mary Martin Yates. She was married to Louis Duchesne Dec. 7, 1910 at Warrensburg, Mo. He died Feb. 7, 1954. She was later married to Earl Showalter.
Surviving are three sons, Eugene W. Duchesne, Creve Coeur; Louis Duchesne, Kansas City, Mo.; Raymond Duchesne, St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Erwin, Worthington, Minn.; and Mrs. Marie Fuller, Pekin; and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Hornback, Temple City, Calif.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
