She is survived by her husband, Gerald Abrahamson, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; four children, Kelley Fairall-Fifer (Don), of Clive, Iowa, Megan Fairall (Curt), of Ames, Iowa, Deidre Fairall (Jay), of Overland Park, Kansas, and Chip Fairall, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; four sisters, Georgia Flater, Linda Sedlacek, Teresa Stephenson, and Barbara Korando; and three step-children, Kirk, Kim, and Todd Abrahamson.
Judy graduated from Grundy Center High School in 1956 and the University of Iowa in 1960 with degrees in French and Literature. In Marshalltown, while raising her four children, she was a substitute teacher, was active in the community as a PTA president, volunteered in many organizations, acted in community theatre, played golf, and bowled.
Judy was a successful real estate broker in Marshalltown. She retired and moved to Clive, Iowa, and later to Las Vegas, Nevada, for 12 years before relocating to Bella Vista, Arkansas, in 2013. Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She had the most beautiful handwriting with a love of words using correct grammar. She was a fabulous entertainer of family and friends. She enjoyed the arts and crafts with the grandchildren.
Judy was an avid reader, worked crossword puzzles every day, enjoyed the theatre, movies, art museums, playing cards with friends, going out for lunch or dinner at the casinos, and traveling.
