Norene Marie (Lueth) Bell of Portland, Ore., passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home on Wednesday, April 3. She was 80 years old. Her loving and vigilant daughter, Tami, was at her side at during her final breath.

Norene was born Sept. 20, 1938 to Carl and Rene Lueth in Abbotsford. In her early adult life she was very active in clubs, organizations and leagues. In later years she was an avid naturalist, hiker and tennis player. She was also a caregiver for young children.

She is survived by: her children; Tami (Michael) Ritt of Montana, Michael (Judy) Jensen and Wendy Jensen of Wisconsin, Eric (Jennifer) Jensen of Oklahoma, Scott (Laura) Nelson III of Minnesota; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a brother Burnell (Marlene) Lueth of Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Robert and Dennis Lueth.
