August P. Fiedler, 79, of 1032 33rd St., Two Rivers, died Saturday morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Edward Stelter will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Fiedler was born Jan. 17, 1895, at Athens, Wis., son of the late August and Wilhelmina Strutz Fiedler. He was a World War I U.S. Army veteran and married Leona Riemer March 9, 1918, at Athens. They farmed at Medford until their retirement in 1953 when they moved to Two Rivers.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Norman, of Little Chute and Eugene, of Two Rivers, a sister, Mrs. Bertha Lenhard, of Medford, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 4 o'clock this Monday afternoon and Tuesday at the church after 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
