Alan C. Diehl, 83, of Bethlehem, formerly of Allentown, died September 10, 2009 in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of Betty M. (Ziegenfus) Diehl. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter and Lila (Horlacher) Diehl. He was a bookkeeper and an accountant at Avenue Motors, Allentown, for 48 years until retiring. He was an active member of Calvary Wesleyan Church, Bethlehem and sang in a number of choirs in the Lehigh Valley.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Linda K. Young (husband Llewellyn) of Salis- bury Township; sons, Jeffrey A. (wife Mary) and Peter S. (wife Suzanne) all of Allentown; grandsons, Michael, Mark, Jeffrey, Stephen, Gregory and Matthew; great-grandsons, Zachary, Ryan and Isaac; twin brother, Charles A.; and sister Leona G. Ziegenfus.

Services: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Calvary Wesleyan Church, Bethlehem. Viewing will be 9:30- 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Allentown. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
