Phillip is survived by his three sons, Phillip Swinyer Jr. and his companion Alisa Conley, South Colton; Bradley and Karla Swinyer, Mount Carmel, PA; Erick and Jess Swinyer, Naugatuck, CT; his daughter, Selena Swinyer, South Colton; his four beloved grandchildren, Jonas, Madison, Mackenzie and Nathaniel. Phillip is also survived by his brothers John Swinyer and Guy and Dorothy Swinyer, both of Connecticut and a sister, Sue and Brian Grant, South Colton as well as several nieces and nephews. Phillip was pre-deceased by his parents, a brother Frank Swinyer and a sister Cynthia Banta.
Born in Potsdam, NY on June 11, 1956 to the late Frank J. and Phyllis E. Allen Swinyer, Phillip graduated from high school and entered the U.S. Army. He served his country until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed being a member of the Coons Camping Club and was a past member of the Parishville Amvets and in his spare time, he found his true loved of riding his motorcycle and loving his grandchildren.
