Mr. Cook was born November 7, 1926 was the son of Robert L. Cook and Maude Cook. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Following his discharge he joined the Corpus Christi Police Department and retired in 1981. He enjoyed hunting, flying, and watching Wheel of Fortune which he referred to as the “Broken Wheel”.
Mr. Cook is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Nelle S. Cook; one son, Richard Michael Cook and wife Lee Ann of Renton, WA; one grandson, Chris Cook of Grants Pass, OR and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
