Olin and Geneva lived in Preston Hollow in Dallas for 65 years and were members of Northway Baptist Church for many years. They had two children, Debbie and Bryan. After her children were grown, Geneva went to work as an Office Manager at MetalCraft where she worked for more than 40 years. Some of her best memories were square dancing with her husband and friends from the Wheel & Deal Square Dancing Club in Dallas where she and Olin served as President for many years. Geneva was also an accomplished seamstress and made all of her own square-dancing outfits and loved to knit and crochet.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband Olin Dixon; daughter, Debbie Dixon Zinser; son Bryan Dixon, mother, Alma Legal Wallace; and, father William Parkerson.
She is survived by her grandchildren Phillip Kennemer, Kristie Kennemer Wyman, Dixie Dixon Pillow, and Rosalee Dixon. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Billye Marie Dixon Boyd, daughter-in-law, Penny Dixon. Geneva also leaves behind her five great-grandchildren: William Kennemer, Andrew Kennemer, Carson Kennemer, Brody Wyman, Kylie Wyman, and Lucy Pillow.
The family is celebrating her life on April 30, 2019 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Visitation will be from 12-1 pm followed by a funeral service at 1 pm.
A private graveside service will follow at Chinn Chapel Cemetery for immediate family.
