In the Rev. James Hill Fitts' book, "History of Newfields, New Hampshire 1638-1911", Ed. by Rev. N. F. Carter (pub. 1912), it notes that in this historic cemetery, among the oldest tombstones that were standing at the time of his writing was one erected in 1752 to "Susannah Clark, dau. of Caleb & Mary."
