Jerry Wayne Adams, 64, of Terre Haute, passed away on May 5, 2019, at Signature Healthcare after a brief battle with cancer. He was born April 20, 1955, in Terre Haute, to Joseph "Pants" Adams and Doris Lawson Adams.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother; his brother and sister-in-law Jim and Marsha Adams; nephew Robert Adams; niece Kristyn Adkins; great-nephew Bryson Adkins; great-nieces Collins Adams and Kynze Adkins; close cousins Pamela Lawson, and John "Tom" Lawson and his wife Teresa; and several other cousins.
Jerry attended Maple Avenue Elementary School and Otter Creek Junior High School, and was a 1974 graduate of Terre Haute North High School. He was employed at Hulman and Company and Modern Aluminum Casting Company, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed going to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Terre Haute Action Track, and attending Indianapolis Checkers ice hockey games. He loved watching satellite TV and old movies with Abbott and Costello being his favorite.
Jerry will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park.
