Bohemian Queen. She was the daughter of Jan z Rožmitálu and his wife Ludmila ze Strakonic. In 1450 she married Georg Podebrady after his first wife had died in childbirth the previous year. She was an active part of her husband's reign. After he was banned by the pope and had to leave Prague, she led his army against Mathias Corvinus. After George died, she called the bohemian princes to Benesov and secured his succession by Vladislav II. In 1473 she retired to her dowry Melnik castle where she eventually died.
