MRS. RICHARD BRIDGEMAN
MARIETTA - Mrs. Vincie Howard "Granny" Bridgeman, 83, of Dacusville Road, widow of Richard William Bridgeman, died Monday.
Born in Greenville County, daughter of the late Bill and Melinda Moon Howard, she was a charter member of Second Baptist Church of Travelers Rest.
Surviving are three sons, Lloyd, Boyd and the Rev. Floyd Bridgeman of Travelers Rest; four daughters, Mrs. Earl Shupe and Mrs. Clara Cox of Greenville, Mrs. Frank Walsh of Anderson and Mrs. Palmer Barton of Marietta; a sister, Mrs. Necie Center of Landrum; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Second Baptist Church, Travelers Rest, with burial in Grand View Memorial Gardens.
The body is at the Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and will be placed in the Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The family is at the home of Mrs. Barton, Rt. 1, Marietta.
