Daisy W. - 86, Micmac Boulevard, Dartmouth, passed away March 8, 1997, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, VG Site. Born in Boutiliers Point, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Florence (Boutilier) Kennedy. She was married to her husband Robert for over 68 years. She was a well-known and respected Dartmouth businesswoman. She was the driving force behind the Miss Dartmouth Restaurant, Plaza Restaurant and Lounge and the Four Seasons Motor Inn. She built successful businesses by investing in people. All who knew her will remember her kindness and compassion. Her power of self belief and inner strength were an inspiration to family and friends. She was and will always be a shining star in the hearts of everyone who loved her. She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Gary and wife NancyLee, Dartmouth; daughters, Reta (Mrs. Donald Power), Hawkesbury, Ont.; Mrs. Marion Sperdake, Dartmouth; Carolyn (Mrs. William Yallop), Brantford, Ont.; sister, Mrs. Edna Daley, Calgary; grandchildren, Deborah, Gregory, Carolyn, Scott and Emily; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Fred, George, Blake, Howard, Byron and Roy; sisters, Ilda, Grace, Florence and Mary.
