Abner L. Balderson, 74, died at his home in Ravenswood yesterday afternoon. he was born in Meigs County, O. on March 8, 1879.
Formerly an owner of a furniture store and garage, he had been in business in Ravenswood for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Wilkinson Balderson; two brothers, Ben Balderson, New Brighton, Pa.; Thurman Balderson, Parkersburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Harvey and Mrs. Leatha Wilkinson, both of Sandyville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 tomorrow from the Chambers funeral home in Ravenswood with the Rev. Wilburn Ray officiating. Interment will follow in the Ravenswood cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home, where friends may call.
