MRS. MARY G. PACKER

Mrs. Mary G. Packer of 11 Yale street, wife of the Rev. William S. Packer of the Church of the Epiphany and a member of the editorial staff of the Boston Globe, died Thursday night, April 16, after a long period of invalidism, in her 79th year.

Mrs. Packer was the daughter of the late George F., and Mary Putnam (Lincoln) Frost. She was a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, class of 1897, and had been a resident of Winchester since 1911.

Besides her husband she leaves a son, William S. Packer, Jr., of Winchester; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude P. Seager, wife of Cedric H. Seager of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Louise P. Seager, wife of Walter Ewart Seager, also of Washington; and Mrs. Elizabeth P. Green, wife of Burgess Green of Providence, R. I. There are also six grandchildren, Mrs. Elizabeth S. Wookey of Toronto, Canada, Alice F. Seager, Walther H. T. Seager, Theodore Francis Green, 2nd, Elliott L. Green and John W. F. Seager.

Private funeral services were held Saturday forenoon, April 18, at 11 o'clock, at the late residence, with the Rev. Ralph Harper officiating. After cremation at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, burial was in Wildwood Cemetery.
