Annie Jenkins-Adams, 76 of Hot Springs Village, AR, formerly of Auburn, IL succumbed to heart failure at St. Vincent's Hospital in Hot Springs, AR on May 7, 2019, after suffering with several health issues throughout the years.

She was born April 29, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. Her parents, Clifford and Ruth Jenkins preceded her in death.

To cherish her memories, she leaves her loving husband, Neil Adams and loyal companion, Chewie, sister, Rachel (Ern) Neumann Auburn, IL,
Children: Rebecca (Kevin) Hampton Franklin, IL, Debra (Steve) McGown Irving, IL, Trustin (Lori) Harrison Springfield, IL, Connie (Andy) Chan Naperville, IL, Mary Jo (Tim) Wood Austin, TX, Martha (Jon) Whitmer Mesa, AZ, Neil J. Adams Joliet, IL, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1961. She completed her college degree and obtained her LCSW license. Annie was a dispatcher for Virden Police Department and worked as a LCSW at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL and St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, IL.

She and Neil moved to Hot Springs Village, AR where she was active in several women's groups.

Annie attended The Village Bible Church where memorials will be appreciated at 100 Ponderosa Way in Hot Springs Village, AR 71909.

There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. Friday May 17, 2019 at the First Presbyterian Church Virden, IL, with Rev. John Huxtable officiating. Following services there will be a Celebration of Life Gathering until 7:00 p.m. at the church.
