Larry W. Grapentine, 44, of Chadron, Neb., died Tuesday, March 17, at Chadron Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlin Chapels in Chadron and also at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, at 2 p.m. Saturday. Keith Burnett of Jehovah Witnesses will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Grapentine was born March 25, 1935, at Manitowoc, son of Fred and Lorraine Kluczinske Grapentine. He was a civil engineer for Chicago Northwestern Railroad and a member of Theta Tau Fraternity.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; four sons, Roderick of Verden, Okla.; and Dan, James and Christopher of Chadron; three daughters, Diane Dean of Jeffrey City, Wyo., Dawn Hunt and Karen Grapentine of Chadron; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grapentine of Manitowoc and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home Saturday morning until the time of service.
