Pauline E. Graycarek died peacefully Thursday, November 29, 2012 on her 91st birthday at Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers. Pauline lived most of her life in Two Rivers.

She was born on November 29, 1921 to the late Paul and Elsa (Krueger) Burdick in Two Rivers. Pauline attended area schools and Two Rivers Vocational School for Certified Nursing Assistants. She was employed with Two Rivers Community Hospital and Hamilton Memorial Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in different services throughout her years of employment beginning in 1963 until her retirement in 1986. Pauline enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and knitting. She made many special occasion dresses and dance costumes for her daughters. For a number of years she was on bowling and pool teams. She was an avid card player and enjoyed playing bingo. Pauline took great pride in her home and her work as a certified nursing assistant at Two Rivers Community Hospital and Hamilton Memorial Home. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Survivors include her six daughters and two sons-in-law: Yvonne and Leonard Henrickson, Two Rivers, Sandra Niespodziany, Manitowoc, Bonnie Jonas, Mishicot, Alana Matheys, Woodbury, MN, Jean Lyons, Pewaukee, WI and Teri and Tom Korinek, Taus, WI; 16 grandchildren: Brian (Brenda) Henrickson, Dale Lee Henrickson, David (Claudia) Henrickson, Mark Henrickson and special friend Becky Beatty, Heidi (Joe) Holschbach, Kimberlee Niespodziany and special friend Timothy Monroe, Eddy (Brenda) Jonas, Joe Jonas, Dan Jonas and special friend Beth Stryhn, Tanya (Eric Brandel) Matheys, Lori (Tom) Tolzman, Tami Tolzman, Vicki Matheys and special friend George Kress, Ross Lyons, Dacia (Michael) Hopkins and Kyle (Anna) Korinek; 22 great grandchildren: Jamie, Jenny and Nicole Henrickson, Dylan and Alyssa Henrickson, Joshua, Cody and Abby Jonas, Gryffin and Phoenix Jonas, Logan and Mason Jonas, Tyler and Chad Tolzman, Scott Tolzman, Colleen, Laura, Wesley and Cameron Hopkins, Josephine and William Korinek and LuElla Monroe; six great-great grandchildren: Brenna Jensen, Austin Vanderveren and Aidyn Henrickson, Natalee and Onalise Jonas and Skylerae Fiest; with one great-great grandchild expected in January 2013: Harlow Tolzman. Pauline is further survived by two sisters and one brother: Harriet Shaw, Louise Prokash and Paul Burdick; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pauline was preceded in death by: the father of her children: Marvin E. Graycarek, a son: Steven John Graycarek, her parents: Paul and Elsa (Krueger) Burdick, three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Virgin and Arwed Wolter, Ethel Heuer, Ann Burdick, Sylvester Prokash and Edward Shaw, one sister-in-law: Alice Burdick and two sons-in-law: Fritz Jonas and Raymond Matheys.

Private family services were held, and cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Pauline's cremated remains will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth at a later date.
