Joseph Oscar Grenier, age 89, a resident of the Hamilton Memorial Home, died Tuesday morning, January 24, 1995, at the Hamilton Memorial Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 27, 1995, at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Greg Smith will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.

He was born July 24, 1905, in Coleman, Wis., son of the late Hermides and Mary St. Germaine Grenier. He attended St. Luke parochial school. On January 28, 1928, he married the former Isabel Tepoorten Schlegelmilch Bartel. She preceded him in death in May 19, 1974. He was a commercial fisherman for over 40 years and prior to his retirement was employed at the Carron Net Company. He was the last charter member of the Two Rivers Eagle Aerie.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Albert Albrecht, Milwaukee; two sisters, Ida Marcus, Two Rivers, Laura Hansel, Frost Proof, Fla.; five grandchildren, Debby Michel, Karen Skibba, Bonnie Koerberl, Bruce and Dale Albrecht; five great-grandchildren, Jason Michel, Nickolas and Mellisa Skibba, Michael and Kristy Brings; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.

Memorials would be appreciated to St. Luke Catholic Church.
