Margaret A. Hackelberg, age 81, of 116 McKinnley St., Two Rivers, died Sunday, June 1, 1997, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, 1997, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Simensen. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Garden, Town of Kossuth.
She was born November 19, 1915, in Stiles, Wis., daughter of the late Victor and Josephine Renier Nellis. She married Owen As. Hackelberg on December 25, 1933, at Stiles, Wis. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Armen and Glenda Hackelberg, Manitowoc, Clyde Hackelberg, Two Rivers, Rick and Christa Hackelberg, West Germany; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lois Brunette, Green Bay, Candy and Fran Mocco, Green Bay, Joy and Walter Homeyer, Two Rivers; two brothers, Victor Nellis, Green Bay, Lloyd Nellis, Oconto; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law; two special friends, Don and Delores Shawhon. Besides her parents and husband, Owen, she was preceded in death by one son, Alan in 1960, two brothers, two sisters, and one great-grandson.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5-8 pm. Thursday and from 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of service at 11 a.m. \Memorials may be made to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.
