Vivian Halverson, age 90, 3422 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Sunday, November 30, 1997, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 1997, at Wesley United Methodist Church. Rev. Jay Smoke will officiate with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.
She was born on March 5, 1907 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Hugo and Odelia Heidorf Panzram. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1925 from Lincoln High School. She married Vernon L. Halverson on May 17, 1929. He preceded her in death in 1966. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jack Reel, Francis Creek; two sisters-in-law, Leafy Beyer, Manitowoc, Fern Cox, Shawano; five grandchildren, Steven (Diana) Reel, Manitowoc, Robert (Ann) Reel, Two Rivers, Michael (Mary Kay) Reel, Mishicot, Scott (Kim) Reel, Manitowoc, Mary (Craig) Kornely, Navarre, Fla.; three great grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, and Nicholas Reel, Two Rivers; four step-great-grandchildren, Rick, Ron, Randy, and Alan Witte, Manitowoc; special friend, Margaret Gass, Manitowoc; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends also survive. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Kinkner; four brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law, and one grandchild.
