Mrs. John (Alice M) Hanson, 75, of 515 E. Reed Ave., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, June 11, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Private family services were held today at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Klumb officiated and burial was in Knollwood Memorial gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mrs. Hanson was born March 11, 1908, at Sturgeon Bay, daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Haberlie Tipler. She was graduated from Sevastapol High School at Institute, Wis., in 1926. She was married to John Hanson, June 1, 1928, at Waukegan, Ill. Mrs. Hanson was an employee of American Automobile Association, Manitowoc, retiring in 1973.

Survivors include her husband, John, a son and daughter-in-law, Giles (Bud) and Carol Hanson of Kewaunee; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and James Mellberg of Manitowoc; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Hanna Simon of Sturgeon Bay, Lorraine and Lester Beam of Green Bay, and Florence and Louis Lautenback? of Sturgeon May, a grandson, John Hanson, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Mary.
