Roy M. Henke, age 63, formerly of Manitou Manor, Manitowoc, died Sunday, December 10, 2000, at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2000, at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Alan Sunn will officiate with burial of his cremated remains at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, township of Kossuth.
He was born January 21, 1937, at Hubertus, Wis., son of the late Emil and Margaret Linden Henke. Roy grew up and was educated in Washington County, Wis. After serving with the United States Army in the Korean Conflict, he moved to St. Nazianz, Wis. and was employed at the St. Nazianz Milling Co. for 25 years. Roy retired and moved to Manitowoc in 1996.
Survivors include brothers and sisters, Bob Henke, Wesley Chapel, Fla., Evarist and Nancy Henke, Hartford, Wis., Shirley Endres, Hartford, Wis., Melvin and Carole Henke, Hartford, Wis., Ronald and Doris Henke, Obernburg, Germany, Patricia and Victor Rens, Brandon, Wis., Fred, Jr. and Kathi Bonde, Valders, James and Mary Bonde, Newton, Wis. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant brother, Merlin; two sisters, Betty Keys and an infant sister, Maple.
