EDMUND H. HOEFFNER
(1900 - 1987)

Mr. Edmund H. Hoeffner, 87, former Manitowoc resident, died early Monday morning, September 7, 1987 at the Americana Health Care Center, Appleton.

Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mr. Hoeffner was born August 23, 1900 at Newtonburg, son of the late Henry and Anna Baryenbruch Hoeffner. He grew up and was educated in Newtonburg. He married Clalie C. Krueger on May 14, 1927 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. She preceded him in death on August 25, 1982. Mr. Hoeffner was a member of First German Evangelical Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Delmar and Imogene of St. Paul, Minnesota and Lloyd and Margery of Appleton; grandchildren, Mark Hoeffner of St. Louis, Missouri, Nancy MacGilvray of LaGrange, Illinois, James and David Hoeffner of Appleton, Ruth Ann Marquardt of Ottawa, Illinois, and John and Thomas Hoeffner of Appleton; 3 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hertha Waack of Newtonburg and Mrs. Norma Reichardt of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Walter and Norbert Hoeffner and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Klusmeyer and Mrs. Hilda Buck.

Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday and Wednesday at the church from 10 am to the time of services.
