Frank X. Holler, 84, of 2121 Markham Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, July 28, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Rev. Arthur Wille will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Holler was born May 17, 1901, at Munich, Germany, son of the late Josef and Catherine Hubatch Holler. He grew up and was educated at Munich, Germany, and came to the United States in 1924. He married Meta H. Lucht on December 7, 1926, at Milwaukee. The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Mr. Holler was employed as a Malster at Kurth Malting in Milwaukee and later in Manitowoc for 25 years. He was then employed at Hamilton Industries in Two Rivers until his retirement in 1964. Mr. Holler was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, life member of B.P.O.E. Lodge #687 of Manitowoc. He was an active sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Meta; two sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert W. and Ruth Holler of Green Bay and Thomas F. and Pat Holler of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter, Anjanette. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
Friends may meet with the family at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 .m. Tuesday and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service.
