Susan was the daughter of Robert Dean LIGHTNER and Berniece BIESBROECK. She grew up in MIshawaka and graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1968. She married Charles Raymond BRADSHAW in Mishawaka on April 8, 1972, at East United Methodist Church. Four sons were born to the marriage. She was survived by her sons, ten grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, a sister, and a brother.
