Coreyon attended kindergarten class at Evergreen Elementary School, a former teacher described him as “shy and withdrawn” his mother described him as “sneaky and playful”. He was a typical 5 years old who loved football, pizza, soda, and SpongeBob SquarePants. On Valentine's Day, his class had a party and he came home from school that day with two carnations. One for his grandmother who had custody of him, and the other for his father. Coreyon adored his father, and couldn’t wait to show him the favorable report card he had just received, and they would often play catch together. However, just two days after the Valentine's Day when he brought home the flower, he would be found dead at the home of his father, who he had spent the night with, the victim of abuse.
