Leon Clay Baye, 77, a native of Lafourche Crossing and resident of Bridge City, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel in Houma. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Alice Buquet; two daughters, Stephanie Bellein of Bridge City and Cynthia Lambert of Florida; two brothers, Tim and Murphy Baye; and four grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Luduvic and Lillian Bourgeois Baye; and one brother, Lionel Baye.

He was a U.S. World War II Navy veteran and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Westwego.
