Victoria Lee Argo, 59 of Edinburg, died at 3:59 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Born on July 25, 1959, Vicky was the daughter of Donald Prince and Marilyn Wilson. She married Melvin Argo on August 9, 1975 in Taylorville, and he survives. Vicky worked as a Sterile Processing Coordinator for Decatur Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, and especially treasured spending time with her grandchildren. She was dedicated to supporting them at their sporting events whenever she was able. In her own spare time, she loved being on the boat or taking a ride on the motorcycle. She loved her family and she will be dearly missed.
Along with her husband of almost 44 years, Vicky is survived by her children: Dena (Thomas) Mozie of Taylorville, Josh (Kiley) Argo of Taylorville, Jake (Nicole) Argo of Edinburg; 6 grandchildren: Olyvia, Alyse, Tayler, Drake, Lane, and Levi; and one brother: Rick (Bette) Prince.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: David Prince.
Family will receive friends from 5 until 7p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at McClure Funeral Home. There will be no service, and there will be a private inurnment at Bethany Cemetery on Sangchris Lake. In lieu of flowers, the donations may be made to her family.
McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
