COLUMBIA - Mrs. Miriam Myers Means, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000.

The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Columbia.

A native of Scranton, Mrs. Means was the daughter of the late William Armstrong Myers and Ruth Long Myers. She attended Winthrop College and was retired from Celanese Acetate.

Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Barker of Rock Hill; three sons, Joe Means of Irmo, Michael Means of Columbia and Wayne Means of Atlanta; her sister, Ruth Stewart of Aiken; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Riverland Hills Baptist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials may be made to the Riverland Hills Building Fund.
