Born August 17, 1944 to Helen Joyce Clark and William Ewell Pritchett. He was the oldest of their three children. He grew up in Las Vegas and went to Crestwood Elementary, John C. Fremont Jr High and Las Vegas High School, graduating in 1964. He resided in Las Vegas his whole life except for a brief time when he lived in San Diego while serving in the U.S. Navy.

Russ knew Christine for many years prior to their marriage on May 28th 1964, and remained married for 55 years. Together, Russ and Chris had three children, Michael 'Joe', Jennifer and Jeffery. Russ was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 44 years in Las Vegas. He was known for his quick wit, kindness, and charming personality. After he retired from the Postal Service, Russ worked for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in Fleet Services, where he held many positions including, car runner, key maker and smog master.

Russ was preceded in death by his mother Helen Joyce Clark, his father William Ewell Pritchett, and his younger brothers Robert and Randall. He is survived by his wife, Christine, children Joe, Jennifer, Jeff, and five grandchildren Ashely, Trevor, Connor, Lian, and Maddy. He is also survived by his maternal aunt Dorothy Clark Wheelwright, many cousins, and his beloved dogs Gracie and Gus.

Russ was happiest spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was the greatest grandfather a grandchild could have. He spent endless hours playing video games, hanging out in the backyard, finding buried treasures and taking the kids on many adventures and hamburger runs. Russ also enjoyed researching his genealogy while drinking coffee. He researched his family's origins back to the Trail of Tears as well as the civil war. Through his research he found and met many relatives.

Throughout it all he did it with the love of his life, Christine, by his side. Russ passed away peacefully on May 5, 2019. He will be missed by the many that knew him and loved him. I am sure he was not aware the enormity of the lives he touched.
