Adolph Newton Hampton was born February 20, 1930 and passed away May 8, 2019. Adolph is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Daisy Joyce and his brothers, Leroy and Glen. He is survived by his son, Dennis and his wife, Dawn and his beloved granddaughter Autumn C'iara, his partner in crime; his brothers, Elvis, and his wife Joyce, Don and his wife, Wynelle, Sam and his wife, Betty; six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. Adolph was a remarkable man and had many accomplishments. He served in the US Army, 1952-1954, in Korea and Japan, earning the rank of Corporal. He worked at Keebler for 30 years. He loved to bless people and helping others was his passion. The apple of his eye was his granddaughter, Autumn. He loved the Lord, his family, working on lawn mowers, working in the garage, and his wife's cooking. Adolph also loved music, playing the banjo, fishing, but his favorite was playing the mandolin. He enjoyed Bluegrass music. He will be missed by those who loved and knew him.
The Funeral Service was held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Apostolic Temple, Pasadena, Texas, in the church where he was faithful for many years. An interment service with military honors was at 1:00 P.M. in the Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas.
