She maried her first husband August Bockelman(1873-1911) in 1904,they had four chilren, Amiela,(1904-1921) Fred,(1906-1982),Edward,(1909-1924),William,(1912-1949).She married her second husband Gustav Radtke(1874-1924)in 1913, they had three children, Mildred,(1914-1985), Carl,(1915-2003),Kenneth,(1918-1993) he died in 1924. She married her third husband Corneluis Haak in 1926,they had one son, Lenie. Marie was the sister of Friedercka, Herman, William, twins Frederick,Ferdinand, Albert,Carl Buck. She lived her whole life in Chicago, and was a Housewife, and a devoted member of Peace Evangelical Church Of Christ.
