Caroline Ruth Saylor Hunter
Eldest daughter of Harry and Carrie, Caroline Ruth was bom in Paulding, Ohio (12/12/1891). She
graduated from high school and attended the Business College of Columbus. For a considerable time she was employed by the Board of Administration in the State House, Columbus.
In 1917, she married Paul Joseph Hunter of Sidney, Ohio. During World War I, he was Lieutenant in the Artillery following which he was with the Radio Distributing Company of Detroit. Ruth was a receptionist for the Dominican Fathers in Detroit and was surely a great success for she was noted to "have a very interesting personality that enters into things avidly". She died on 2/26/1971. They had
