She later marries Alexander Grant, the widowed husband of Olympi Grass Grant. Mary and Alexander married the 28th day of February 1877 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida. They had two son's together. John Barrett Grant, born in 1878 and in 1881 they had Charles Ewing Grant.
Almost 30 years after her husband Alexander's 1902 death, Mary went back to live in Paris, Kentucky. She rests with her parents and several siblings here at Paris Cemetery.
I have found scant, information about her burial. I have read that there IS a Tombstone with her name, "Mary A Grant" and the birth and death dates inscribed.
NOTE: Her oldest son, John Barrett Grant was born and died in Pensacola, Escambia County Florida. While I find information on his date of death, I can not find a place of interment. I have found that he often went by the name of 'Jack', as used in his father's obituary.
