Death yesterday morning here of Mrs. Michael O'Connor at age 73 following a long illness.

Mrs. Michael O'Connor, a pioneer settler of this city, died Wednesday morning at her home on North 7th street, aged 73 years. She had been in poor health for some months.
Mrs. O'Connor was previous to her marriage Miss Ellen Sheehy and she was born in Limerick, Ireland, in 1836, and came to this country with her parents in 1844. The family resided at Milwaukee for four years, removing to this county and settling in Maple Grove in 1848. Mrs. O'Connor had been a resident of this city since 1852. In 1859 she was married to Michael O'Connor who died four years ago.
She is survived by eight children, Mrs. O'Toole, Mrs. Thos. Hennessey, Johanna, Thomas and Daniel of Chicago, William of Marietta, Oho, and Mary and Michael of this city.
The funeral will be held Friday morning from Sacred Heart church, Rev. O'Leary officiating. The burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
