Brothers Martin and Peter Kocher came from Holtzenhausen, Germany. Martin arriving in Pennsylvania Sep. 26, 1837 and settled in Heidelberg Twp., Lehigh Co., PA. Then Peter arrived a year later Oct. 23,1738 and brought with him his 8 year old son, Michael. His wife had died in Germany. Peter then remarried in 1739 to Elisabetha. They had at least two sons, Conrad on Jan. 2, 1740 and Peter II on April 19, 1742. They also show a Baptism for Conrad of Jan. 15, 1740. Shared by Linda Meyer #47568088.

They traveled to the Hoelzenhausen/Dillenberg area, Germany and traveled from there to Rotterdam, where they boarded the Ship Bilander Thistle to Philadelphia, PA - October 28, 1738.
