Antoinette "Toni" M. Vander Loop, 98, Green Bay, formerly of the Town of Eaton, died peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, with her family at her side, after a short illness. She was born on Sept. 3, 1914 in DePere to the late Frank and Anna (Vercauteren) Van Bogart. On May 18, 1937 she married George T. Vander Loop at St. Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1992.

Toni was proud of the fact that she went through 12 years of school without missing a day. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church for many years. Toni loved word searches, playing bingo and puzzle books. She was known for making homemade bread and canning food for her family. Toni had an extra sharp memory right up until the time of her death.

Survivors include her nine children: Sister George Antoinette, Colorado; Dorothy (Don) Konop, Two Rivers; Ken (Suzy) Vander Loop, Green Bay; Harold (Joann) Vander Loop, Denmark; Cy (Marg) Vander Loop, Minnesota; Ed (Sally) Vander Loop, Pennsylvania; Ralph (Lynn) Vander Loop, Marshall, WI; Mary (Mark) Treichel, Denmark; Dan (Pam) Vander Loop, Green Bay; 25 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; her sister, Agnes Peters, DePere; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sister Francis Borgia, SSND and Frances Peters; one brother, Joseph Van Bogart; and one daughter-in-law, Diane Vander Loop.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Sunday from 4 to 8 pm. Parish Wake Service at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Monday at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 312 Victoria St. from 9 to 10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday at the church with Rev. William O'Brien officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
