In July 2017, Charley was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Two rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant only put the lymphoma in remission for a short period of time. In April of this year, we learned the cancer was back.
It was Charley's wish to donate his body to medical science. He did not want a funeral but instead have a family and friends picnic to celebrate his life. When his ashes are returned to his wife, he will be buried in the DeBolt Cemetery, Arnett, OK.
A memorial service picnic will be held Sunday at noon, 02 June, 2019 at the Woodward Moose Lodge. All family members and friends are invited to attend and share "Charley stories".
