With her husband, Carl, they owned and managed the Triple G. Farm. She was a Girl Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, seamstress, farmer, homemaker, and world traveler. She was a dedicated genealogist, tracing the Golightly family back to Scotland, Virginia and South Carolina. Survived by a sister, Margaret Bates; 4 children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; sister, Dr. Annie Lucille Golightly; and brother, Joe Frank golightly.
